Fresh out of college I was asked to style a video for the new band “New Kids on the Block”. I started the process of styling the video by meeting them at a midtown hotel, and then took them shopping all over Manhattan. I combined the shopping finds with items from my archive and the latest collection by Stephen Sprouse to develop a look for each band member. The performance sections of the video was shot at the legendary club CBGB’s and the amusement park images at Coney Island.
